Job Description:

As Trimble's Senior Manager, Sustainable Product, Sourcing & Supply Chain, you will join the Global Sustainability Team to lead its efforts to drive product sustainability at scale and implement initiatives to accelerate sustainable product supply chains across Trimble's portfolio of offerings.

The Global Sustainability Team is responsible for driving transformative change, leading Trimble towards its science-based targets to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions and to engage with key suppliers in support of their transition to a net zero future.

In this role, you will build and implement a holistic sustainable sourcing and supply chain strategy that integrates product design, development, and ROI. You will partner across the company - from product designers to commodity sourcing managers - and external stakeholders - from industry networks to corporate partners - in order to meet Trimble's commitment to decarbonize its value chain and help build a more sustainable and resilient supply chain through cost-effective, high impact investments in materials, transportation and logistics, energy requirements, etc.

Through your day-to-day contributions to building a more sustainable and resilient supply chain you will be directly impacting our corporate purpose to Transform the Way the World Works.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ideation, building and implementation of a holistic sustainable sourcing and supply chain strategy, vision, and goals.

  • Contribute to the development of a sustainable product strategy, vision, and goals.

  • Work closely with the Sustainable Operations Lead to drive engagement strategies with Trimble's selected suppliers and internal stakeholders on value chain GHG emissions reduction.

  • Lead cross functional teams to support the development and execution of new and existing sourcing and supply chain sustainability initiatives.

  • Develop scalable net zero relevant processes within the business and sourcing teams to enable action and decision making internally.

  • Analyze, track, and report on product and supplier GHG data, targets, roadmaps, and solutions to enable trends identification, projections and decision-making.

  • Support product development engagements with both Trimble business teams and external supply chain entities.

  • Serve as a Sustainability and Decarbonization expert for Trimble Product, Sourcing, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred, in relevant field (e.g. business, engineering, Sustainability Management, Environmental science)

  • 8+ years of experience in product, sourcing and/or supply chain sustainability or 12+ years of related experience in fields related to sustainability.

  • Experience in GHG accounting, GHG target setting, Roadmap development, engaging with suppliers and decarbonization solutions.

  • Experience delivering results through large, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong team-orientation with a proven track record of taking ownership, influencing business leaders and delivering results.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

  • Project management skills with demonstrated experience to self-manage complex delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Analytical capabilities and experience managing complex data, advanced technical skills including Google Workspace, MS Office, relational databases, and data analytics proficiency.
