As a Knowledge Expert (KE), Team Manager within BCG's Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Practice Area, you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the Sector/Topic business. You will grow and deploy a team of Sector/Topic experts to support case work, content development and business build initiatives. You will drive the IP/content agenda, with support from the team, and lead execution of Tier One and IP projects. You will be responsible for team's performance across all KPIs (case billability, quality, content creation, etc.).
Additionally, as a Knowledge Expert, Team Manager, you will engage with case teams & clients based on your individual expertise and demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to BCG clients and case teams.

YOU'RE GOOD AT
- Leading problem solving and solutioning for clients and driving towards pragmatic solutions tailored to the business context
- Leading development and commercialization of knowledge and assets e.g. tools, sector/topic materials, in area of expertise in infrastructure software, public cloud service providers, and other relevant topics in the sector. Experiences with IaaS or infrastructure software vendors in product management, software development, project management or business operations are a great plus
- Engaging and communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating expert presence and credibility
- Leading projects in a highly effective manner, mobilizing team to deliver on business priorities and commercial impact
- Acting as a highly effective coach and mentor, guiding team members to achieve goals efficiently and effectively
- Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 5+ years consulting experience in TMT sector/topic required; candidates with consulting experience preferred
- In lieu of consulting experience, 7+ years minimum industry experience required; 10-12+ years of industry experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required (advanced degree preferred) Major in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- Specialization in infrastructure software, public cloud service providers, and other relevant topics in the technology sector
- Fluency in English; other languages requested in certain locations
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
As a Knowledge Expert, Team Manager, you will collaborate with global topic leads and colleagues across BCG to bring expertise and capabilities to the service of our internal and external clients. The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda and building and deploying leading edge IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.
BCG's Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA's business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
Some local governments in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of base compensation. We expect your total annualized compensation to be approximately the following:
* The base salary is between $(USD); $159, 000-$162,250 placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
* In other locations, competitive pay is commensurate with the role and geography
* Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%
* 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
