Job Description
  • Role context:
    • Responsible for helping to translate branded content strategy into tactical custom content programs
    • Lead the day-to-day needs relating to content partnerships, including conversations with partners and clients throughout the execution process
    • Work closely with the Content Director and Account team to support them in developing strategy, and connecting content programs into the integrated marketing approach
    Responsibilities
    • Develop tactical custom content recommendations with partners that could include custom digital video, influencer marketing, content integrations, social activations, and custom sponsorships
    • Meet and evaluate partners in offering content marketing solutions to identify best partners and partnership opportunities
    • Negotiate partnership deals that deliver the most value to clients
    • Lead structured brainstorms that generate original ideas that can inform the RFP process
    • Serve as project manager, ensuring all parties are accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering within approved plan parameters
    • Supervise the content creation process, including providing clear input on key deliverables such as talent selection, storyboards and content rough cuts
    • Collaborate with Wavemaker planning teams to ensure content partnerships are an interconnected part of the media plan
    • Write client presentations and partner briefs
    • Cultivate client relationships, demonstrating a keen understanding of their business and how content fits within it
    • Develop junior team members foundational understanding of content and client services
    The candidate:
    • Comfortable executing various brand content activation tactics, such as influencer marketing, social activations, original brand video, and custom media partnerships and sponsorships
    • Ability to interpret client briefs and determine the opportunity for custom content
    • Working knowledge of content development process
    • Experience in launching content partnerships for clients
    • Proactive, a team player, demonstrate leadership
    • Proven experience in building strong client relationships
    • Flair for presenting creative ideas

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
