Job Overview

The Supply Tech is responsible for performing supply chain activities related to product receipt, distribution, replenishment, minimizing cost, and supporting department goals across the organization.

Department: Inventory Management Distribution
Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits
Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 4-10's. Holidays are worked as they land on your schedule.
Qualifications
  • EDUCATION - High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • EXPERIENCE - Minimum of six (6) months of related supply chain, receipt, distribution, replenishment, inventory control, experience is required
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

  1. Receives product upon arrival, confirms quantity, inspects, and ability to sort and put away or deliver product when necessary as defined by departments standard processes.
  2. Maintains and safely operate all equipment need to perform job tasks including but not limited to handhelds, pallet jacks, carts, and carousels. Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  3. Read production schedules and provides replenishment of all internal and external department managed storage locations. Includes ability to fill requisitions through various order and delivery types through departments standard processes.
  4. Performs department cycle counting and outdate procedures for department managed inventory locations both in warehouse and customer supply rooms.
  5. Monitors expiration dates, excess supplies, and waste within supply rooms and managed PAR locations.
  6. Schedules outbound shipments while properly labeling materials with necessary information to ship product.
  7. Supports Supply Chain Management to ensure existing inventory and associated expenses satisfy targets as established by department leadership
  8. Provide customer service to all clinical, business and support staff. This position may be required to work overtime and Holiday's to fulfil customer requirements.

  • Guidelines: Developmental, standard, or intermediate level. Guidelines are generally numerous, well established, and directly applicable to the work assignment. Work assignment and desired results are explained by general oral or written instructions.
  • Complexity: Falls between the entry and full performance/senior level. Duties assigned are generally repetitive and restricted in scope but may be of substantial intricacy. Employee primarily applies standardized practices.
  • Decision Making: Decisions or recommendations on non-standardized situations are limited to relating organizational policies to specific cases. Brings non routine issues to supervisor. Problems that are not covered by guidelines or that are without precedent are taken up with the supervisor.
  • Communications: Contacts with team members, clients or the public where explanatory or interpretive information is exchanged, gathered, or presented and some degree of discretion and judgment are required within the parameters of the job function.
  • Supervision Received: Under normal supervision, within a standardized work situation, the employee performs duties common to the line of work without close supervision or detailed instruction. Work product is subject to continual review.

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $39,890.57 to $59,835.86
Hourly Salary Range: $19.18 to $28.77
