Account Executive/Broker Specialist II - Personal Lines

Aon Private Risk Management (APRM) designs, implements, and services customized personal risk management strategies for High-Net-Worth individuals and families.

The Account Executive / Broker Specialist II is responsible for assisting a team of Account Executives with day-to-day account management and broking of personal insurance programs.

What the day will look like

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports the Account Executives by working to build, expand, and solidify relationships with existing clients and prospective clients.
  • Assists in leading appropriate resources to address the client/prospective client's risk needs, thereby assisting in the retention and growth of a profitable book of business.
  • Promotes the value that Aon delivers to clients through superior service, pricing, consultation and reporting.
  • Assist with new business and remarketing of personal insurance programs for current clients.
  • Updating applications within our agency management system, quoting online with insurers and completing coverage comparisons or proposals for the Account Executives in Word and Excel.
  • Prepare and input summary of coverages for Account Executive's review.
  • Manage a small book of assigned clients.
  • Assist with conducting annual reviews for clients.
  • Process changes and endorsements within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Respond to client issues as directed by the Account Executive.
  • The time service standard: returning a phone call within 24 hours and responding to email by the end of the day.
  • Assist the Account Executive with complex claim activity, including contacting claims adjustors when necessary.
  • Assisting the Account Executive with client billing issues - including contacting the carrier and/or internal accounting team to coordinate, track, resolve billing / payment issues.
  • Build and maintain important working relationships with insurers, clients, referral sources and colleagues through regular contact and interaction.
  • Access carrier websites / systems to process changes, retrieve documents and information as required.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Required Experience:
  • Property & Casualty license preferred, will be required to obtain within 3 months of hire date
  • Personal lines insurance experience
  • 3 years' experience with high-net-worth personal lines insurance preferred
  • Proficiency in applying carrier management platforms preferred (Chubb, AIG, PURE, Cincinnati, Berkley One, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Nexsure preferred.
  • Experience in MS Word and Excel

Education:

  • Property and Casualty license preferred - will be required to obtain within 3 months of hire
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience
  • CPRIA, CPCU, CIC, or ARM completed or in process is preferred

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $55,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
