University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) are seeking a fellowship trained, CAQ eligible, Pediatric Interventional Radiologist (IR). The division of Pediatric Radiology consists of 30 board certified pediatric radiologists. Currently, a subset of 4 pediatric interventionalists perform over 3000 procedures per year. Two Advanced Practice Providers complete our provider team. Pediatric IRs will focus their work at one central campus in Aurora, CO, approximately 15 minutes outside of Denver. If desired, cross coverage with adult IR may be possible. Colorado School of Medicine. The CHCO network of care covers 484 beds and
is consistently rated in the top 10 Children's Hospitals by U.S. News & World
Report.
We recently completed a multimillion-dollar expansion of the Pediatric IR
Department with state-of-the-art Siemens technology including two dedicated IR
suites (biplane and single plane) and separate4 CT fluoroscopy. We have a
comprehensive multidisciplinary Vascular Anomalies Center that has over 1000
clinic visits per year and serves at least 8 regional states. We consistently
collaborate with an active Hepatobiliary/Transplant program and thriving
Hemophilia Thrombosis Center. There are numerous opportunities for research,
publication and national speaking to be explored.
Denver is a unique city located near beautiful mountains, and national parks for hiking,
biking, and world class skiing/snowboarding. There is an energetic downtown with arts,

Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: Assistant Professor: $403,000 to $443,000 Associate Professor: $444,000 to $451,000 Professor: $452,000 to $498,000 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Qualifications: |
Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License by time of hire, ABR Certification or eligible by time of hire, Pediatric Interventional Radiology Fellowship training. Required Competencies Competency is required in the performance of diagnostic arteriography, vascular intervention, oncologic intervention including intra-arterial and percutaneous therapies, biliary, genitourinary, and GI intervention. Specific experience in application of listed competencies in the pediatric population will be necessary. Preferred Qualifications Pediatric Diagnostic Radiology and Pediatric Interventional Radiology Fellowship Training. Certificate of Additional Qualification in Pediatric Radiology and/or Vascular Interventional Radiology. Greater than 5 years of faculty experience in an academic center. Track record of innovation and expansion of pediatric interventional radiology services including a proven interest in clinical and/or bench research.
